Living Healthy and living longer
We all want to live a healthy life
and want to live as long as we can. What can we do in order to live a healthy
life and live longer? Here are some steps that you should follow in order to
live a healthy life and live longer: Eat right, Exercise regularly, Quit
smoking, don’t smoke, and don’t do drug.
Eat
right means that you should eat foods that contains less fat, less sugar, and
less salt. When you consume a lot of fats, these fat tissues can deposit along
the wall of your artery. This deposit can block your blood flow and in a long
run this will lead to a heart attack or stroke which could result in death.
Chickens and fish contain less fat that beef and pork and they are good for
your body. When you eat chickens, try not to eat the skins. The skins contain
mostly fats. The skins taste good but they are not good for your body.
Of all
the meats, fish is the best. For this reason, you should eat fish more often.
It is recommended that you should eat more chicken, fish, vegetable, and fruits
than those that contain a lot of fats.
Addition
to eating right, you should also exercise regularly. You should exercise at
least 30 minutes day and at least 3 to 5 day a week. You don’t have to perform
vigorous exercise. Jogging, biking, swimming, or simply walking is good enough.
However,
if you prefer playing sports such as soccer, basketball, volley ball etc…, that
is ever better. Exercising can improve your heart rate and blood flow
circulation throughout your body. It can also clean out fat tissue that deposit
along the wall of you artery. In along run, exercising can prevent a heart
attack or a stroke just like eating right.
Besides
eating right and exercising regularly, you should not smoking you should quit
it as soon as possible. You should know that smoking is not good for your lung.
As you continue to smoke for a long time, sooner or later you will develop lung
cancer.
Once
you have lung cancer, you can’t be cured and most likely you will die from it.
For this reason, you ought not to smoke at all. If you have been smoking, you
should consider quitting it. Smoking is simply not good for your health.
As
mention in the above paragraphs, in order to live a healthy life and live
longer, you should eat more healthy foods such as chicken, fish, fruits, and
vegetables. You should exercise regularly. Whether you exercise by walking,
biking, swimming or playing sport, exercise is good for your health.
And
again smoking is not good for you either. If you have been smoking, you should
consider stop smoking. It is just not good for you.
Remember
living healthy and living longer, you should: eat right, exercise regularly,
don’t smoke, and quit smoking live long and be prosperous.

Keep yourself busy
When we have free time, we should work on something that can
benefit us or our society. Often when we have free time, we tend to sit around
and do nothing. This is indeed a waste of time.
We all
should consider time as a very precious entity given to us by nature. That is
to say: time is very important. Some of us, from day to day, we wish to have
just enough time to complete an assignment, to work on a project, or just to
make a living.
The
bottom line is that when we have free time we should work on something that we
enjoy doing. Something can be, for example, gardening, teaching someone about
something, or investing something that are useful and are needed by our
society.
It
could be something that can used to improve farming in hope for yield increase.
Or if you enjoy raising poultry such as ducks and chicken or cattle such as
cows and water-buffalo, or raising fish, why not do it. They all are useful.
If you
don’t want to raise chicken, cattle, or fish, you can repair your home if your
home needs repaired. Or you can read books or learn new skills. There are
countless of things that you can do to keep yourself busy. You can always think
of something to do or to work on.
If you
don’t have lands that are big enough to raise Cattle, or ponds to raise ducks
or fish, you can always do gardening in your backyard. In your garden, you can
grow vegetables like lemon grass, lettuce, green onions, mints, or whatever
that you like to eat.
You can
share them with your neighbors or if you prefer you can sell them at your local
market. These are the benefits of keeping yourself busy. This is just an
example of being productive.
